A Home for the 24 Notes
ScoutBugle.com started as a simple resource for Scouts working toward their Bugling Merit Badge — a place to learn the calls, find sheet music, and get a straight answer about which bugle to buy. Over the years it’s grown into a full stop for anyone who plays, teaches, restores, or simply loves the traditional bugle.
What We Do
- Sell reproduction and vintage-style G/F regulation bugles, including Rexcraft-style and “Gunga Din”-style horns, cavalry bugles, and M1892 reproductions
- Teach the calls required for the Boy Scout Bugling Merit Badge, with notation and audio for every one
- Repair and restore trumpets, bugles, cornets, French horns, flugelhorns, trombones, and tubas
- Preserve the history of the bugle as America’s introductory brass instrument, from Civil War field calls to modern Scout ceremonies
Who We Serve
Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts earning merit badges. Civil War and military re-enactors. Honor guards and buglers who sound Taps at military funerals. Band directors and beginning brass students looking for an affordable first horn. And anyone chasing down a bugle call they haven’t heard since summer camp.
If you’ve got a question about a bugle — buying one, playing one, or fixing one you already own — that’s exactly what we’re here for. Get in touch.
