Repair & Restoration

Before You Clean an Old Bugle
If you’ve inherited an old bugle — a family M1892, a Rexcraft your grandfather carried, or something you found at an estate sale — resist the urge to polish it. Aggressive polishing can remove markings and finish that are original to the instrument and impossible to replace. Bring it to us first; we can tell you whether cleaning is safe or whether it’s better left alone.
