Find Your Bugle
The traditional Boy Scout Bugle is based on the G/F bugle specified for the U.S. military in 1892. It plays in the keys of G and F using a slide, and it’s the same style of horn used for military funerals, Scout ceremonies, and Civil War re-enactment to this day.
Styles We Carry
- Rexcraft-style reproductions — the “official” Boy Scout bugle style, rebuilt with a few thoughtful improvements over the original
- Cavalry bugles — compact, single-coil horns favored by mounted units and re-enactors
- “Gunga Din” style bugles — the classic double-twist silhouette, in B-flat
- M1892 reproductions — historically accurate builds of the regulation Army bugle
- Student trumpets — including the Jupiter Brigadier and Amati 223, for players ready to move beyond a single-slide bugle
A Note on Kanstul
We no longer carry Kanstul bugles, as Kanstul has gone out of business. We do sometimes have new and demo trumpets in stock — reach out and ask.
